Are you in search of pumpkin books and videos for your pumpkin unit? I love pumpkin activities in the classroom! My favorite thing to do is cut open a pumpkin and have students reach in to get a couple of seeds. The kids get SO grossed out by it! One little boy asked me “Are you trying to make me vomit?!?!” LOL
Besides the beautiful art projects and fun food activities, pumpkin units are a great way to talk about plant life cycles and plant needs. Below I will list my favorite pumpkin books and videos I use with my students. Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom for a link to my pumpkin life cycle freebie!
