Description
Beginning writers sometimes struggle with putting all of their skills together when it comes to the writing process. They have a good foundation with knowing their letters and sounds but need more opportunities to practice putting it all together in the writing process.
These beginning writing skills activities help students build their confidence and skills as the activities progress from the basic skills to more in-depth skills.
Students will work on:

- Using finger spaces
- Adding end marks
- Incorporating CVC words
- Incorporating rhyming words
- Using word families
- Inventive spelling

- Descriptive writing
